Still raining...
Needless to say there hasn't been any work done but today I walked through the mud to see what was going on with the footers that BD educated me about and look at what I saw! This can't be good.
WOW....while it doesn't look good at all it may actually be a good thing. If the ground is holding the water it may mean that the soil isn't "loose" and the footings may be okay. Talk to your PM and express your concern. Ask if the footings and foundation will be inspected for movement after the water dissipates and before the framing process starts.
Wow!! I am sure that they will remove all of that water, but belive me, I can definitely empathize with you. We were slated to break ground this week, but with all the rain, it simply could not be done. They finally excavated today! We'll be following you on your journey :) Happy Building!
Oh No Carlito...I'm a few days latye and now it's all sunny out, but wow! You had to wait, and wait and wait only to have water everywhere. I hope everything is resolved and that your CRAZY PM did his/her job. :)
I cannot wait to see the progress on your home...Weather seems as if it should be good for awhile and hurricane season is nearing its end! GOODLUCK!!!!
Thanks for checking BD I will post an update very soon. I misplaced our digital camera so getting pics off of my cell phone is a real pain. We are framing this week!
P.S. I just figured out to only see comments to know who to respond to...duh. All this time I have been trying to remember who said what and check back thousands of times per day.
